11:30 am – 12:45 pm
Kuykendall 106 Events Room
This workshop will animate the elements of a research study conducted at Purdue University for defining teaching excellence and developing a Teaching Excellence framework. With the goal of helping instructors recognize their strengths and expand their skills, the Purdue framework defines five elements of excellent teaching as Exemplar, Educator, Enthusiast, Experimenter, and Explorer. This workshop at CTE will provide opportunities for a discussion on practicing excellence in teaching and sharing insights with fellow faculty about effective instructional and non-instructional strategies.
